About Us
The Museum's Flame Symbol is our way of reminding everyone that we must carry the torch of life so we can see, appreciate and learn from the past while being a guiding light for our earth brothers and sisters as we move from the present to the future.
You are invited to help us carry the torch starting today! The African American Multicultural Museum is a local Museum with a global perspective. It was incorporated in 2004 as a 501(c) 3 non-profit in Arizona by Edward and Kay VanDyke. Our Mission is "Fellowship through Education" When people learn about the positive contributions of others regardless of race or gender, it affords us the opportunity to appreciate our differences and celebrate our similarities. Our Vision is to be one of the vehicles which teach the earth's human inhabitants that all of us are brothers and sisters under one big blue sky. We are more than a Museum. Many of our programs are geared to help people accomplish their life goals and make positive steps to improve their health and relationships. We ask you join the journey of Fellowship by becoming a member, volunteering and/or making a donation. All of these can be accomplished on this web site "now"! Please know that any positive support you give is Greatly Appreciated! |
