Volunteer
As a Museum volunteer, you will have chosen to look beyond yourselves to serve a greater cause. Through volunteering, you are demonstrating your concern for others as well as the arts, history and becoming involved in the community in a positive way. The support offered by you and other generous volunteers allows the African American Multicultural Museum to achieve more than would otherwise be possible.
Volunteers are needed in many categories. The Museum hours are Thursday through Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and various other hours for events or special activities on the other days of the week.
If you have teens that are in need of community service hours, they can volunteer to help at the museum and receive credit for these hours.
